പ്രിയ മധു, എന്താ ഞാൻ പറയണ്ടേ... മാലാഖമാരെ ഒത്തിരി ഇഷ്ടമായി എന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞതിൽ എനിക്ക് പറഞ്ഞറിയിക്കാനാവാത്ത സന്തോഷം ഉണ്ട്... പിന്നെ ഞാൻ ഈ പറയുന്നത് ഒരു അധികപ്രസംഗം ആയി കാണരുതേ... അത്ര വലിയ അറിവൊന്നും എനിക്കില്ല എന്റെ ഈ ചിന്ത തന്നെ ചിലപ്പോൾ ഒരു തെറ്റാണെന്നും വരും... എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ സ്വന്തം സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ ആയി ആണ് കാണുന്നത് അപ്പോൾ ഇച്ചിരി പൊട്ടത്തരമാണേലും പറയാമല്ലോ... എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ ഒരു കഥയുടെ വിജയം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ വായിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞും നമ്മൾ ആ കഥയെ കുറിച്ചും കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചും ചിന്തിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ്. കഥക്കപ്പുറം നമ്മൾ തന്നെ ഒരു ലോകമുണ്ടാക്കി അവിടെ ഈ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ കഥ എഴുതിയ ആൾ ധന്യനായി... ശരിക്കും ആ ഇത്തയും, നായകന്റെ തിരിച്ചു വരവും ഒക്കെ വായനക്കാരുടെ ഭാവനക്കുള്ളതാണ്... അത് ഓരോ വായനക്കാരനും ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യമെങ്കിലും ഭാവനയിൽ സങ്കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടേൽ ഒരു കഥ മരിക്കുന്നില്ല അങ്ങനെ മരണമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കഥയല്ലേ ഇനി ഒന്നും പറയാൻ ബാക്കിയില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കഥയേക്കാൾ നല്ലതു... മധുവിനെ പോലെയുള്ള ഓരോ ആസ്വാദകനും ഒരു എഴുത്തുകാരന്റെ ജീവശ്വാസമാണ് ആവേശമാണ്... ഒരുപാട് നന്ദി ഈ സ്നേഹത്തിനും കരുതലിനും.. സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം കിച്ചു.
